The World Tarot

This week I decided to feature the Thoth Tarot by Aleister Crowley and painted by Lady Frieda Harris. I chose this deck because it is an important one. Crowley was a member of The Golden Dawn. He later went out on his own and became a bit of an extremist in his pursuit of mysticism. For others who know about Crowley's history will know this is a bit of an understatement. If there's nothing good on TV, Google him! Many people shy from this deck based on Crowley as the source while others would use no other deck than the Thoth. To each their own!

Sooo…..the Tarot card of the day: Universe!

This is most always a welcomed card. Depending on your deck the name can change but the two most common names for this card is either World or Universe. This card represents a fulfillment to a chapter in our lives. It indicates change, transformation and how it molds us into a better versions of ourselves. We start different chapters of our lives with the Fool starting out on a journey with childlike innocence, experiencing along the way, love, strength, disappointments, introspection, balance, reevaluation, letting go, shedding, rebirth, healing, etc., till we come to card 20, Judgement. Judgement is the crossroads. This is where we awaken to what we perceived truth to be from the eyes of the Fool to what we now know the truth is from having actually taken the journey. Now the crossroads aspect is to meld these together, what we perceived truth to be with what we now know the reality is and assimilate these two. Once we do this we gently awaken to the loving energy of the Universe and can put this chapter behind us, but no cycle ends without a new cycle beginning, we now begin a new chapter and start a new cycle but bring to it the wisdom from previous cycles. How will this new chapter begin?

Tip of the day: You don't have to see the outcome, just take the first step.... Bravo!!!
